As we traverse the Camino Frances from Hospital de Orbigo to Astorga, covering approximately 10.8 miles (17.4 kilometers), we transition from one charming village to another. Starting at an altitude of 2690 feet (820 meters), our path gradually ascends to 2851 feet (868 meters) by journey’s end. Along the way, we’ll pass through the picturesque villages of Villares de Orbigo, Santibanez de Valdeiglesias, and San Justo de la Vega. Each step forward brings us closer to our destination, amidst the serene beauty of the Spanish countryside.
