Los Arcos to Logrono


The Camino Francés route from Los Arcos to Logroño spans approximately 17.4 miles (28 km), descending from a starting altitude of 1,457 feet (444 m) to an ending altitude of 1,237 feet (377 m). The highest elevation along this path is Virgen del Poyo at 1,854 feet (565 m), encountered shortly after Torres del Rio. This segment takes pilgrims through Sansol, Torres del Rio, and Viana, offering a mix of historical sites and natural beauty. The route’s descent into Logroño, a city known for its rich culture and wine, marks a memorable transition from rural landscapes to urban hospitality, blending the journey’s spiritual solitude with communal celebration.
